We have all grown up watching, living & breathing the greatest spectacle in Cricket; Australia v England battling it out for that treasured Ashes urn.
Over 2 fun-packed days, we bring you The Bass Strait Bashes.
2 days, 2 nights, Australia’s best golfing destination, Australia v England, each team captained by 2 of Ashes cricket greatest living legends – Lord Ian Botham and Allan Border, hosted by another cricketing legend Greg Blewett.
Bass Strait Golf brings you the opportunity to compete for your country in a team/tournament formatted golf competition like no other. Played at Australia’s premier golfing destination. Barnbougle Golf Links in Bridport, Tasmania.
Each day, 2 Aussies and 2 Englishman per group will thrash it out to win a point for their country and help their country become the Bass Strait Bashes champions. You’ll be playing for over 5k in prizes thanks to our major partners at Taylormade Golf.
Your breakfasts, lunches and dinners are all included, plus access to our Sportsmans’ charity auction night.

Scoring Format
Combined Stableford
Day 1 – Barnbougle Dunes
Day 2 – Barnbougle Lost Farm
Each day you will play in a group of 4, 2 players representing each country.
Each player will score their own stableford points and combine the 2 scores at the end of the round to see who has won a point for their country.
There will be an overall winner and winning team each team day.Plus an overall winner and team after completion of both days play.
We will also have every point count as a run for each country, to see which country holds the inaugural Bass Strait Bashes.
Fantastic prizes for Longest Drives and Nearest to Pins, plus someunique extra prizes will be added in.
